The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely.
Students will need to bring a pen and notepad, their firearm, one box of ammunition (Minimum caliber of 9mm for semi-autos and 38 for revolver), and eye and ear protection. These items can be rented at the range for a minimal fee. We have several firearms that may be used by the students at no charge.

This class focuses on firearm safety, ways to store a firearm, the concealed carry laws, use of deadly force and more. You do not have to fire a firearm or qualify with a firearm to obtain these permits. Do not bring a firearm or ammunition to class. We will supply you with all required materials to obtain the Utah permit.
