Phase 2:

This course is at least 8 hours long and will focus on State and Federal law consisting of storage, carrying, and transportation of a firearm. This course will also focus a large portion on Use of Force as well as range qualification; (70% or better with 30 rounds at distances of 5, 7, and 10 yards). *All students must provide eye and ear protection and pay range fees in order to qualify (Ammunition may be available at the range for a small fee but it is not guaranteed).

Phase 1:

This course is 8 Hours long and will focus on Basic principles of marksmanship; Care, cleaning, loading, and unloading of a firearm, firearm safety, basic handgun operation and handling of the firearm, as well as handgun fundamentals.

Cost: $40.00 for students that have completed training through TSI for all others the cost will be $65.00.

The prints will be submitted within 24 hours and will remain valid for 30 days from the time of submission.

We will also have the Florida applications at these locations if anyone would like to obtain their Florida CCW Permit. We will roll ink prints for Florida and take the passport photo needed for the Florida permit for $5.00.

Phase 1:

Illinois CCW Phase 2:
This course is at least 8 hours long and will focus on State and Federal law consisting of storage, carrying, and transportation of a firearm. This course will also focus a large portion on Use of Force as well as range qualification; (70% or better with 30 rounds at distances of 5, 7, and 10 yards). Students should bring a firearm (revolver or semi-automatic – please no single action revolvers), eye and ear protection, 1 box of ammo, and 3 magazines (if you have them). These items may be available at the range for a small fee but it is not guaranteed. All students must pay the range a $10 fee. Illinois CCW livescan electronic fingerprinting will be available during class to students at a cost of $40. Students are encouraged to take notes.

We will sit down and go through the application process including: take required photo, scan in the certificates, obtain the digital ID and complete the application.

You will receive a email the day before with your time slot. If there is a certain time you need include it in the comments. That time will not be guaranteed.

UTAH CCW:
This class focuses on firearm safety, ways to store a firearm, the concealed carry laws, use of deadly force and more. You do not have to fire a firearm or qualify with a firearm to obtain this permit. Do NOT bring a firearm or ammunition to class. We will supply you with all required materials to obtain the Utah permit.

Utah Non-Resident Concealed Carry Firearm Permits have no State residency requirement and may be obtained by any legal resident of the United States. This is the most valuable Multi-State CCW Permit available, based on recognition from other States and total cost. Your Utah Concealed Firearm Permit is valid in many states, see our chart in class.

Photo, fingerprints, and application are included with this class.

This course is 4 hours long and will focus on Basic principles of marksmanship; care, cleaning, loading , and unloading of a firearms, firearm safety, basic handgun operation.

This course is designed for those who have 4 hours of credit towards their Illinois CCW, such as a Utah CCW certificate. This course, along with Phase 2 would complete the required training.

We will sit down and go through the application process including: take required photo, scan in the certificates, obtain the digital ID and complete the application.

You will receive a email the day before with your time slot. If there is a certain time you need include it in the comments. That time will not be guaranteed.

The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. Students learn the NRA rules for: safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the two handed and one handed standing positions; and cleaning the pistol. Students will need to bring a pen and note taking material, their firearm (if they have one), one box of ammunition (Minimum caliber of 9mm for semi-autos and 38 for revolver), and eye and ear protection. These items can be rented at the range for a minimal fee. We have several firearms that may be used by the students at no charge. DO NOT BRING AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM.

Illinois Live Scan Electronic Fingerprinting:

In most of our classes, and always in the Phase 2 class, we offer the Illinois electronic live scan fingerprinting during class. This is optional for the Illinois CCW application. We recommend getting the fingerprints because it will not only avoid the 30 day processing delay, but your application background check will be based on your fingerprints rather than just your name. This is especially significant if you have a common name. The cost to Illinois CCW students for the Illinois CCW Permit fingerprints is $40, otherwise the cost is $65. We offer the fingerprinting for a wide range of professions, not just the Illinois CCW.
